Once each semester, local and national companies and ministries send representatives to 星空无限传媒鈥檚 campus to present employment and internship opportunities to CIU students. The Career Fair has been a staple at CIU for years, providing students with the opportunity to network and begin pursuing career and ministry positions.听
One of the 30 organizations at the Fair was Global Education Ministries (GEM), offering positions teaching students abroad at Christian schools in Central and South America.听
鈥淭his is a great opportunity to be immersed in a new culture and meet new people,鈥 said Annie Bolsley, a GEM representative who worked as a teacher in Mexico for four years. 鈥淭he Ministry allows you to be intentional with the locals there and impact your community for Christ.鈥澨
Another notable participant at the Fair was Varna International, a renowned music academy that hosts classical music performances around North America and Europe offering internships with flexible schedules that include positions in public relations, marketing and research.
Many students take advantage of the opportunities presented at the Career Fair, including senior Andrew King.听
鈥淚 love this event,鈥 said King, who also plays on the CIU soccer team. 鈥淚t allows me to explore different options and see what鈥檚 out there.鈥澨
Not only were CIU students seeking employment opportunities, there were also several current students representing companies at the Fair, such as Zander and Heather Crowley, who are now both managers at solar and roofing company Byld Better in Charlotte, North Carolina.听
